How governments of the South assess the results of South-South cooperation: case studies of South-led approaches

Abstract: This brief seeks to identify approaches to assessments of SSC that are led or supported by Governments of the South. It explores how some Southern partners, namely Brazil, China, India and Mexico, are conducting initiatives to assess the results of SSC and whether and how these initiatives are affecting the way they conduct their SSC. Finally, the brief reflects upon the potential of such initiatives to foster the contribution of South-South cooperation to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Addis Ababa Action Agenda on Financing for Development and Paris Agreement on Climate Change.
